This is a small update with bug fixes, one new lens profile and support for Panasonic and Sony new cameras. To update, go to Help Update in Lightroom or the Apps tab in your Creative Cloud app.Modifying images, captions, keywords, or GPS data triggers Lightroom to republish the photo information, even if it already exists in your gallery. Duplicate photos will be skipped unless you flag them. A: This will scan your Smug Mug galleries and attempt to match them to photos that already exist in your Lightroom catalog, then link them. After they're matched, they work just like the other photos you've uploaded through the Smug Mug Publish service. Then I see that the DNG converter is available for free download, and I could actually use that to convert RAW images of a new camera model to DNG and then use them in Lightroom as usual. That adds an extra step to the workflow (which might be possible to automate), and I'd lose the original RAW file (because I don't want to keep twice the file size). If you don’t see this update, you can download the update file directly here (Mac Windows) and then double-click on the file to run the installation wizard.Lightroom 6.9 and CC 2015.9 were released today with support for new cameras, new lens profiles, bug fixes, and improved error messages for syncing to Lightroom mobile (CC only).
The .0 release must be installed before attempting to install the patch.Useful if you've uploaded photos via the web uploader or from other computers, and for downloading your client's Event Favorites.Q: My client picked their Favorites from their Event. A: First, you'll want to sync your folders and galleries. If you’re a CC subscriber, remember not to click the Update button in the CC app otherwise you’ll be updated to the latest version again.I have Lightroom 4.4 and am not willing to buy the 5 update because it has nothing I could use – except support for new camera RAW formats.
